Ask for a written breakdown of the visit, medicine, tests, membership and delivery.
Ask which charges recur and which are paid only once.

Name the kind of price

An introductory price is temporary
Semaglutide is the medicine ingredient in Ozempic products used for type 2 diabetes.
Here, a pen means a device that contains medicine for an injection, rather than a writing pen.
At the September 2026 check, the Ozempic injection-pen offer charged new patients paying outside insurance $199 for each of their first two monthly supplies.
The later monthly price was $349 or $499, depending on the prescribed amount of medicine.
The offer covered only its two lowest starting amounts, US residents aged at least 18, and purchases through December 31, 2026.
Ask the pharmacy to match the amount on your prescription to the offer’s terms before it quotes the lower price.
You cannot ask your insurer to pay you back for money spent under this offer.
That money also does not count towards your deductible: the amount you must pay before your insurance starts paying.
